I had been dubious about this place since as reviewers note, it is not a conventional hotel, but decided to try it. So glad I did. If you like trendy furnishing and daily services this is obviously not the place for you. But if you appreciate spacious large room, elegant bathroom with lots of privacy, making your own cozy breakfast without leaving your room, all in a wonderful convenient location with great restaurants at first floor doorstep, then you will love this place. The front desk staff was very nice and responsive and efficient. The apartment was clean, cozy and convenient. The location was wonderful, so easy to walk most places. Added to that were two great restaurants downstairs—Italian in front, Vietnamese in back; clean laundry room; taxi stand a few steps down the street towards the Westin Hotel. Clippers had everything I needed for the middle of a long trip and I wish I had stayed longer. Unfortunately I moved to a conventional hotel when my husband arrived (as he prefers a restaurant breakfast onsite) and we paid more for a place I liked less.

Location - IMHO, the best possible for a tourist in Berlin. Most POIs are accessible by walk, but if you need public transport, the U-bahn and S-bahn stations are very close. It is very easy to come from/to the airport by S9 (Friedrichstrasse station). Food: a lot of restaurants around. If you need a grocery - REWE and Penny are within 5 min walk distance. Another "Lotto" store with tobacco, alcohol, and snacks is located on the opposite side of the street. Note: in a "studio" room you haven't a cooking plate, microwave only. The room (we stayed in a "studio") is large enough, clean, and good equipped. Kitchenware - espresso machine, toaster, kettle, dishes, glasses - all are high quality. Mattress and pillows (4 units by default), linen, and towels - large and comfortable. A little balcony with a view of the inner courtyard. It's very small but you can smoke there. Self-check-in is very easy. The staff is very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here. danke schoen.

The site met our expectations in every regard and beyond. We came to Berlin just to visit the museums and wanted to stay very close. Indeed, we did not take any cab or bus, everything was in walking proximity. The room felt spacious, modern and all materials gave us a great feeling of staying in a classy hotel. We love Apart Hotels for their easiness, just meeting couples with taste and style, but not posh. For those who seek the flair of Berlin nightlife, this site might make you feel rather dull. There is not too much of traditional Berlin Biergartens. But sure, there are restaurants and even the Augustiner around, you won’t be disappointed. But the neighborhood still feels kind of empty. However, you get to the busy parts over to S-Bahn-Bogen and Hackesche Hofe in less than 20 minutes by walking. It was kind of difficult to find a place to have breakfast so. But perhaps we didn’t organise and might have just missed them.

It's a nice mini hotel with quiet and comfortable rooms. I was a bit misled by the photos into thinking our room had a kitchenette, which it didn't. However, there was a kettle, a nespresso machine, and a microwave. Would have been handy to have a stove, but we managed. Overall, it's a nice place to stay - very centrally located, with easy access to S-bahn, U-bahn, trams and buses. The museum island is within walking distance. The staff are very polite and ready to help.

Maria

loved the location of the property. Easy to get to from public transport. Walking distance to all the major sites. The curtains are heavy to make the room dark. The facilities were great. Our bed was comfortable and there was also a pillow menu! There was also a washing machine and drier that we could have used within the property. We were able to keep our luggage there until we needed to head to the airport.
